National Support Latino Business Day Events

Viva La Cultura – A Special Event for Special Event Vendors

When: Wednesday, September 14, 2022

Where: 55th & Homan at PODER (in-person)

What: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Attend this event to learn about the vendors for special occasions such as quinceañeras, weddings, fundraisers, and more. The event is free and open to the public.

BMO Harris – National Support Latino Business Day Reception

Where: BMO Harris, 320 S. Canal, Chicago, IL, Union Conference room, 2nd Fl (in-person but RSVP required)

When: Wednesday, September 14, 2022

What: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Join Illinois leaders for a reception and panel discussion on the resources available and how Illinois is collectively supporting Latino Businesses. WGN’s Lourdes Duarte will moderate this event. Register here

Boost Your Impact with Social Capital

When: 11:00 am

Where: Macy’s on State Street, 111 N. State St., Chicago, IL (in-person)

During the first part of the workshop, you’ll hear from Illinois Latina entrepreneurs and leaders as they share their experiences in growing social capital and impacting their local communities with that capital.
