If you're going to thrive as a remote worker, it's essential to learn new skills and strategies that keep your home operations on track.

As tempting as spending all day working in your pajamas might be, take the time to get dressed. When you get dressed, it signals to your brain and body that you're transitioning out of relaxing and into 'move-mode.'
Treating your day like an in-office workday means taking breaks is essential. When you work in an office, your day is compartmentalized with meetings, conversations with co-workers, and other things. When you're working from home, these variables don't exist. If you're not careful, you can end up working for hours without giving your mind a rest: which is a recipe for burnout.

Schedule activities that will refresh you mentally, like going for a walk or drinking matcha on your porch, yard, or balcony. You could even take the time to indulge in a short yoga session. These things aren't time wasters. Actually, they make you even more productive.
How we work has changed a lot in the past few years. We learned how to collaborate both in real-time and virtually. Today:
- 43% of Americans work from home on occasion.
- 52% of Americans work from home full-time.
- 82% of professionals would like to work from home once a week.
- 52% of professionals desire to work from home at least three days per week.
You're used to working from your home office but looking to upgrade some of your equipment. Don't worry. We have access to the resources you need.

Check out the: Your Workspace: section to see what products we offer to help you build your home office or set up your new remote workstation. Boss Squad Members get an exclusive price on bundled items.

Why Celebrate National Black Business Month?

The best answers we've seen are geared around empowering economic growth within the Black Community. According to Project Pneuma in Baltimore, MD, "Supporting Black-owned businesses throughout the year can help stabilize a community and create more opportunities for meaningful savings, property ownership, credit building, and generational wealth. It is important to be intentional about providing support beyond the holidays and throughout the year."
