6 Ways to Stay Energized Throughout Your Work Day
Whether working in an office setting or remotely, it’s normal to feel overwhelmed when juggling multiple projects. Trying to focus for long terms can be draining emotionally and physically. We created a short list of actions you can to help boost your focus and achieve your goals for the day.
Check out these suggestions for using short breaks.

Check out these suggestions for using short breaks.

1 . Close your eyes and listen to three songs – Take some time and listen to music from your favorite playlist. Pick music that you enjoy to relax and let the sound help you relax while sitting at your home office desk.

Just focus on the stress melting away and clear your mind. Music can help soothe your soul.

Listen to three songs and see how you feel. Use the energy you gain from your favorite songs to push through and complete the tasks for the rest of your day.

2 . Close your office door and lean back – Close your eyes, focus on your breathing and count backward from 50 to 1. While doing this exercise, focus on inhaling and exhaling. Then open your eyes, and you should feel refreshed

3 .Take a 10 minute walk – Whether you work in a small or large office, take a few minutes during your break and walk around the building. Remember to get some fresh air and walk around the block.

4 . Splash cool water on your face – Go to the bathroom and through some cold water on your face. The cool sensation should help wake you up when you feel sleepy.

You’d be surprised how a little break can help boost your energy.

5. Relax and recharge with a nap – Depending on your employer, if you can take a 15 minute break, use ten minutes to take a short nap. Grab your phone and set a timer for 10 minutes, and see if you can get some rest. If you have an office with a door, close it and try to focus on relaxing enough to recharge for a few minutes.

After your phone alarm goes off, take five minutes and get in a drink of water. Then head to your next meeting.

6 . Go for a change of scenery – Be bold and change where you work during the week. If you work at a large office, try getting your work done in the conference room. Try sitting in a different chair in the office.

If you’re a remote worker, try working from a different area instead of your home office. If you’re home alone, try working out of your living room area.

We know work can be tiresome, but you must choose how what steps work best to keep you engaged and productive enough to complete the tasks you have scheduled for the day.

Use these tips above and tell us in the comments which suggestion helped you make it through the week. Please let our team know if you have any suggestions for future content. We look forward to hearing from you.
