Amazing Soy Sauce Chicken Wings Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2lb chicken wings
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
5-6 ginger slices (1-inch pieces)
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp five-spice
8 garlic cloves (thin-sliced)
2 tbsp muscovado sugar

METHOD

Add the oil into the pan to heat. Next stir fry the 5 – 6 slices of ginger and 3 scallion stalks. When you smell the aromatics, remove from heat.
Using measurements from the ingredients list; pour in light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, muscovado sugar, five-spice and garlic cloves. Next, add the chicken wings. To avoid the wings sticking to the pan, begin stirring right away. Next, pour more oil in if needed. While stir frying the wings, make sure they’re covered in sauce and pay attention how the skin looks while it’s cooking.
Then, cover the pan and lower heat. Cook for 20 – 25 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent burning the sauce onto the chicken.
Serve with sliced scallions, cilantro, or sesame seeds to garnish.
